- Degree in Philology with a specialization in Linguistics from the University of Athens.
- Postgraduate Diploma (D.E.A.) in Linguistics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris.
- Doctorate in Linguistics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris under the supervision of Professor Oswald Ducrot.
- Postdoctoral Diploma in Language Teaching from the University of Athens.
Research interests Language teaching, grammar phenomena, vocabulary, textual genres. Also, in general, the investigation of the way in which the findings of the theoretical study of language can be related to its didactics.
