The Lab for Social and Migration Studies (SMS Lab) serves the teaching and research needs of the departments of the Pedagogical Faculty as well as other Departments of the University of Western Macedonia in the following subjects
- Social Studies
- Migration Studies
- Gender Studies
- Education and Research in Social Studies
- Law, Equal Opportunities and Citizenship
The SMS Lab aims to promote research, collaboration and knowledge exchange with other laboratories. The mission of the laboratory is to produce knowledge that can be transformed into services and products and to be used by public and private entities.
